59th Zakopane Conference on Nuclear Physics
The γ-spectroscopy findings in 176,178Yb were presented by P. Koseoglou in a poster contribution at the 59th Zakopane Conference on Nuclear Physics, held in Zakopane, Poland, on 30 August to 6 September, 2026.
New publication on the Confined β-Soft rotor model
A new publication by J. A. Papadopoulos, T. J. Mertzimekis, P. Koseoglou, P. Vasileiou and D. Bonatsos, entitled "The Confined β-Soft rotor model in rare-earth nuclei", has been published in Atomic Data and Nuclear Data Tables 171 (2026) 101818. The work investigates the application of the Confined β-Soft rotor model to the description of collective properties in rare-earth nuclei. doi: 10.1016/j.adt.2026.101818 .
FAST'26 Workshop
The preliminary analysis for the lifetime measurement of the first 2+ state in 178Yb was presented by P. Koseoglou in an oral contribution at the Fast timing for nuclear structure and applications Workshop (FAST'26), held in Magurele-Bucharest, Romania, on April 27-29, 2026.

New publication on lifetime measurements in the A ∼ 120 mass region
A new publication by M. Efstathiou, P. Koseoglou, P. Vasileiou, T. J. Mertzimekis et al., entitled "Lifetime measurements in the A ∼ 120 mass region", was published in Nuclear Physics A 1068 (2026) 123338. The work reports lifetime measurements in nuclei of the A ∼ 120 mass region. doi: 10.1016/j.nuclphysa.2026.123338 .

The 3rd Collaboration Meeting of Yber was held online on June 12th, 2025.
HNPS2025 Symposium
Our first gamma-spectroscopy findings on 178Yb were presented by P. Koseoglou in an oral contribution at the 33rd Annual Symposium of the Hellenic Nuclear Physics Society (HNPS2025), held in Athens on June 6–7, 2025.
